Students will surrender their cell phones in the designated location at the beginning of class.  If they choose not to, they may store their phone in their bag, however, if their phone is out for ANY reason (i.e.: checking the time, responding to a text from their parent, etc.), they will receive an automatic office referral.  
Parents needing to contact students: if you text your child during class time, they will not be able to respond until after class.  If you need to contact your child in an emergency, call the front office and they will be able to get you in touch with your child.
